Welcome to Pure Hope Hygiene Pantry
We all have to make choices.
For individuals and families experiencing financial hardship, these decisions can be painfully stark. When faced with how to spend their limited resources, most will choose a meal at the expense of personal care. Struggling to afford the cost to maintain a basic level of hygiene, these individuals suffer the loss of confidence and prospects; avoiding interviews, work opportunities, classroom time, and social situations. One person at a time, we strive to restore dignity and distribute aid. The needs are real. The people are real. And so is the help. |

We are an Idaho Falls REALITY...
Bonneville County boasts a myriad of assistance and services for a variety of needs; from food pantries, to clothing giveaways, to shelters. While many of these locations may be able to offer small hygiene packets, resources are slim and these care packs often only last 1 to 3 days. Pure Hope Pantry recognizes the need to create an outpost where individuals and families can come to receive regular full-size bath and feminine care products.
|
Unfortunately, most federal assistance programs, such as EBT, do not pay for soap, shampoo, shaving products, or feminine hygiene. Because of this, members of our community do not feel confident going to school, interviews, work, or social events because neither they nor their clothing feels clean.
Hygiene poverty exists. Help us to eliminate this issue. |
